We hold personal information supplied by you when you became a member of the Cremation Society of Great Britain.  We do not retain any details other than those you provide to us.

The types of personal information collected will include name, postal address, email address and telephone number.  We may also hold details of any third parties that you have provided to us, in relation to your membership.

This information is held in order to fulfil the terms of your membership of the Cremation Society of Great Britain.  We have also written to you to seek your consent to being contacted for other purposes, outside of the scope of your membership.

B:        Regular subscribers to our publications

  • How do we collect information?

We hold personal information supplied by you when you subscribed to the publication you receive.  We do not retain any details other than those you provide to us. 

  • What personal information do we hold?

The types of personal information collected will include name, postal address, email address and telephone number.

  • How do we use this information?

This information is held in order to fulfil our contractual obligations in supplying you with future publications and for general administration purposes.

C:        Crematoria featured in our annual Directory of Crematoria and Directory of Pet Crematoria

  • What information do we collect and how do we collect it?

We have sought the written consent of any individual whose personal details featured in the Directories.

  • What personal information do we hold?

The types of personal information collected will include name, postal address, email address and telephone number.

Where no consent has been received, those personal details have been removed.  If your details currently appear and you no longer wish them to appear in future Directories, please write to us at Brecon House (1st Floor), 16 Albion Place, Maidstone, Kent  ME14 5DZ or email us at [email protected]

  • How do we use this information?

The information provided by you is published in our annual Directory of Crematoria or Directory of Pet Crematoria, which is available for public purchase.

D:        Visitors to our website

We use cookies to keep track of your sessions on our website and to track your browsing patterns. The use of cookies does not give us access to the rest of your computer or to personal information about you.  We work with Google Analytics to monitor the use of our website. Google Analytics use cookies to gather statistics about our visitors, such as where you come from before entering our website, which pages you look at on our site and where you go afterwards.
