REGULATION, DATED JUNE 23, 1925, MADE BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT UNDER SECTION 7 OF THE CREMATION ACT, 1902 (2 EDW. 7 C. 8)*
In pursuance of section 7 of the Cremation Act, 1902, I hereby make the following Regulation amending Regulation 18 of the Regulations made under that section by the Secretary of State on the 26th April, 1920:-
In Regulation 18 the following words shall be added at the end of the first paragraph: - "Provided that the Cremation Authority may, if they think fit, destroy any such applications, certificates, statutory declarations or other documents (but not the register of cremations or any part of such register) after the expiry of fifteen years from the date of the cremation to which they relate."
